DANIIL HETMAN was born on April 19, 1990 (Dnipropetrivsk). He graduated from the Glinka School of Music School in Dnipro with a degree in piano performance in 2009, and the P.I. Tchaikovsky` National Music Academy in 2018 (Department of Composition, class of Associate Professor Ludmila Yurina). 

Hetman's works have been performed at international contemporary music festivals including "Two Days and Two Nights of New Music" (Odesa, Ukraine), "13 World Premieres" in Blauwe Zaal - Singel Antwerpen (conductor by Wim Henderickx - performed by Antwerp Symphony Orchestra 2019), "XIV International Forum Music of Young Composers", and "Premieres of Season" (Kyiv, Ukraine). He also took part in “SoundMine” Master Classes (2018 Bilzen, Belgium), and the “International New Music Master Classes” (2019, Lviv, Ukraine). 

His awards include I. Karabyts Grand Prix of the International Competition for Young Composers "COD" Kyiv, Ukraine (2017); Gold Diploma Winner of the Oscar Rieding International Composers Contest, Celje, Slovenia (2017); Grand Prix of the “Star Bridges” International Piano Competition (Lviv, Ukraine); and Diploma of the International Piano Competition "MUSICA INSIEME" Musile di Piave (Venice, Italy).
