The LIATOSHYNSKY FOUNDATION is a Ukrainian public organization created to promote the study and popularization of the legacy Borys Mykolayovych Liatoshynsky, the founder of Ukrainian contemporary music, and to support the growth of the Borys Liatoshynsky Study Museum in Kyiv. The foundation also sees its role more widely to advocate for Ukrainian art music of the 20th and 21st century in Ukraine and beyond.
The foundation was founded by three like-minded individuals: the composer’s heir and head of the foundation Dr Tetiana Homon, musicologist Dr Iryna Tukova, and director of the charitable Vere Music Fund, Pavlo Piminov.
This year, the LIATOSHYNSKY FOUNDATION will partner with several Ukrainian and international projects connected to the creative legacy of Borys Liatoshynsky.
We are very grateful for their partnership and for the invaluable information about and images of the composer, his works, and his world they have provided.
