A passionate advocate for music, cellist Stella Saliei has an active musical life as a chamber musician, orchestral player, educator, and artist. She greatly enjoys collaborating with musicians and artists from many different genres. Stella enjoyed playing principal cello in the ARTEHATTA Chamber Ensemble from 2014-15, the creative workshop led by Ukrainian violinist Miroslava Kotorovich and recorded two series of the project "CINEMA Sound Pictures", which was performed in the National Philharmonic of Ukraine. Her accomplishments include serving as a leading cellist in the Ukrainian Armed Forces Orchestra and recording numerous compositions by Ukrainian composers from 2018-19.

Born in Ukraine, Stella Saliei began studying cello at the age of eight. She earned her Bachelor of Music and her Master in cello Performance at The Ukrainian National Tchaikovsky Academy of Music and is currently earning her Artist Diploma at Montclair State University. Her teachers include Tomoko Fujita, Nicholas Tzavaras, Denis Severin, and Elena Chervova.

As an artist, she has illustrated and published a children’s book titled “Alphabet with Animals: From A to Z" under the pen name Stella Branch. Stella has been selected to collaborate with the Lumina Arts incubator on the "Body Image" episode of Artists for Joy.
